What to Look for in Mens Work Joggers
Men's work joggers have become increasing popular over the years, especially in the UK. Mainly because they are flexible, comfortable and offer lots of mobility which is what you you need when working to get through the day productively. Here's a list of things you should have;
[1] Cargo Pockets on the Side of the Legs
Not all work joggers have cargo pockets on the legs, so look for ones that have cargo pockets on the legs. Cargo pockets add functionality for workmen, a handy little compartment to have when you need to put your tape measure or small handy accessories.
[2] High Vis Tape
Reflective tape which wraps around the legs in parallel to anther reflective tape. This forms 2 bands of high visibility strips which will help you stand out against oncoming vehicles in dark or low light conditions. They can be placed on the lower or upper parts of the leg as long as its on the movement of legs. Never under estimate the importance of safety at work.
[3] Bright Coloured Material
Ideally you should go for fluorescent coloured joggers in bright orange or high octane lime/yellow, both offer that protection in terms of visibility that we mentioned earlier.
[4] Quality of Fabric
Go for Polyester with brushed inner fleece fabric that's thicker than 250GSM. You should be able to read this information on the wash label or product information tabs. Ideally go for 280 -330 gsm which is more durable and protective. Thick fabric is better when used in work conditions like construction or general trade, it adds an extra layer of protection especially in the colder months. Its also stretchy and offers plenty of mobility when bending up and down.
[5] Side Zip Pockets
Go for styles which have zipped pockets on the side of the hip area, they will certainly help keep important items from dropping out, such as keys or mobile phones. It gives you peace of mind when you working on a job.
